Square Poncho Tunic

Description

The Square Poncho is made of Guangdong Mud Silk, a two-colour fabric distinguished by its black upper surface and brown underside. The process for this fabric dates to the Ming Dynasty in the fifth century, the craft has been kept alive within the region where subtropic river deltas carry a special iron-rich mud that binds to the silk. Due to the nature of its process and the materials involved mud silk is antibacterial and anti-viral.
